We had a great time this year at the 2012 Polk ADDY Awards, held Saturday, March 3, at the Polk Museum of Art. We are proud to report we have won multiple awards in several catagories including 10 Golds, 6 Silver and 3 Best of Category Benny Awards. Here’s a peak at the winners:

Best of Category & Gold Addy Award Winners

TILT is a philanthropic event for USF Polytechnic. The logo is an ambigram that reads the same when “tilted” upside down.

	This is the invitation and the map for TILT which features silver foil, metallic ink and two varnishes—glossy and matte.

ADDY Awards Event Signage – Guests came dressed as rockstars and were greeted by this banner at the entrance while “paparazzi” snapped their photos on the red carpet.

	Rockstars were encouraged to compete with one another on the Rock Band video game.
	Best of Category winners received a laser-engraved cowbell and a drumstick themed after the popular SNL “Need More Cowbell” sketch.

	Website designed for SavvyWatch.com, an online retailer selling respected watch brands at reasonable prices.
	The website features a fashion guide page to assist with watch purchases based on the latest style trends.

	The “Let’s Talk” campaign for Saunders Ralston Dantzler Realty featured a microsite designed to initiate a conversation at an upcoming event hosted by the company.
	Being well-versed in the Polk County, Florida property market gives the company credibility with their commercial clientele and prospects.
	Registering for the open house event was made easy through the online form.
	Invitees were mailed a high-quality travel mug as an incentive to attend the event.

We are proud to’ve had the opportunity to work with so many great non-profit organizations in the surrounding area during our inaugural BrandAthon.

One of the groups for which we completed work was VISTE – Voluneers in Service to the Elderly.  VISTE’s purpose is to provide services which enable frail elderly persons to continue living independently in their own homes, safely, comfortably, and in better health.

In need of a brochure which explained VISTE’s services to our community, they engaged us to design this piece.

It’s at this point in the journey when the giggles come in abundance, immunity to caffeine has taken over, and yawning comes more often than would be preferred. We’re talking in incomplete sentences and saying incomplete words – it’s about time to call it a night. . . or a day!

We all agree that we are looking forward to nothing more than allowing our heads to meet our pillows for a couple of hours this afternoon.  Fear not, though, for we will be back on Monday morning ready to begin presenting to the roster of recipients.

The finished products will be shown in presentations with our clients, and then will be revealed to the public.  We can’t wait to share with you the fruits of our free labor!  Thank you to everyone for your support and for keeping up with us through the night.
